Nudismo.
La mejor playa para practicar nudismo es Costa Natura, en Estepona. En Marbella, la playa habilitada para pasear por la arena desnudo es Cabopino, junto a las dunas de Artola.
Instalaciones deportivas.
Tres playas de Marbella cuentan con pistas habilitadas para la práctica de deporte: El Cable, Las Salinas y La Bajadilla. Además, se puede practicar kite surf en la playa de Rio Real en verano; y por todo el litoral en invierno.
Barbacoas.
El bando de playas de Marbella limita el encendido de barbacoas a tres playas: El Chopo, El Cable y El Alicate. En el resto del litoral se prohíbe por la cercanía de los pinares.
Horario de pesca.
Tanto desde la orilla como submarina, desde las 20.00 hasta las 08.00 horas

Marbella Town Hall regulations restrict lighting barbeques to three beaches: El Chopo, El Cable and El Alicate. It is not allowed along the rest of the coast due to the vicinity of trees.
